Saginaw Bay Resort hosted its 1st Annual Winter Festival this past Saturday. About 80 people were in attendance, which is a great turnout for the first year!
Check out the happy sledders!
Competition in the snowman building contest was tough, and building them was tons of fun!
You can’t go wrong with a “Camping Snowman”, but Frosty might worry about the heat from the fire. Regardless, we’re sure he’ll be back again some day. 🙂
Snowmen weren’t the only things built from snow!
Some people made their own fun and found ways to stay warm too. 🙂
Hot drinks and food were on hand to warm up cold and hungry bellies!
Prizes were awarded to some happy campers!
Check out this video of some of the fun!
Saginaw Bay Resort is open year-round. This means you have the option of camping on a site (in your RV or whatever rig suits your fancy) or renting a cabin on site. You can always stop in just for the day too! Some of the visitors this year warmed up afterward with a swim in the indoor pool and a dip in the hot tub. Sounds perfect!
We’ve been hearing how much fun everyone had and how they’re already looking forward to next year. We hope you can make it next year too so we can see your happy face!
