Celebrate Independence with a BANG!

One of the most memorable and fun parts of summer is celebrating Independence Day by catching a fireworks display. To help you have a super great summer, we’ve compiled a list of fireworks displays local to each of our eight resorts!

Davison: The BEST place to catch fireworks is at Outdoor Adventures Lake Shore Resort! The show will take place on Saturday, July 2. It’s always a huge hit!

Grand Haven: There will be fireworks in downtown Grand Haven beginning at 10pm on July 4, right after the Musical Fountain show that evening. We recommend you catch both and go early to get a seat on the grandstand near the waterfront. It’s always a fun time! Click here for more info!

Kalamazoo: The Kalamazoo Speedway will host a fireworks show at dusk on July 1. Just five minutes from the resort, it’s a great opportunity to celebrate! Click here for more info!

Mount Pleasant: Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant, just minutes from the resort, will host a fireworks display at dusk on July 4. Go and enjoy all that Mount Pleasant has to offer! Click here for more info!

Omer: We recommend you swing in to Saginaw Bay Resort and catch the show there! If you’d like another option, head to Au Gres on July 2 and catch that show instead. Click here for more info.

Standish: Saginaw Bay Resort in Standish is the home of the other Outdoor Adventures huge fireworks display! This will also be held on July 2. Come enjoy the day of fun!

Sterling: The display at Saginaw Bay Resort is your best bet if you’re staying at Rifle River Resort, but you can always head to Bay City any time between June 30 and July 2 to catch one of their much talked about displays too! Click here for more info!

West Branch: July 3 at dusk is the time to catch the fireworks in West Branch! Be prepared for fun with your friends from Lake of the North Resort! Click here for more info.

BONUS if you go to Lake Shore Resort or Saginaw Bay Resort to catch a show: there are always lots of fun activities for your family for the whole weekend! Make sure to keep an eye on the resort Facebook pages and website for details!
